Smart Factory

Smart factory is a new stage of modern factory information development. It is based on the digital factory, using the technology of the Internet of Things and equipment monitoring technology to strengthen information management and service, clearly grasp the production and marketing process, improve the controllability of the production process, reduce the human intervention on the production line, collect production line data timely and correctly, and make reasonable production schedule. All of which, combined with the green intelligent methods and systems and other emerging technologies, to build a high efficiency and energy saving, environmental protection, and comfortable humanized factory. This is the result of the practical application of IBM's “Smart Earth” concept in manufacturing.

The digital factory is a new type of production organization, based on the relevant data of the product life cycle, in a computer virtual environment, the entire production process is simulated, evaluated and optimized, and further extended to the entire product life cycle. The digital factory mainly solves the "gap" between product design and product manufacturing, and realizes the design, manufacturing, assembly, logistics and other functions in the product life cycle, reducing the uncertainty between design and manufacturing. In the virtual environment, the production process is compressed and advanced, which shortens the time from product design to production, and the products can be evaluated and inspected, thus improving the reliability and success rate of the product.
